DAYS IN AUSTRALIA

on 22nd of october 2016, I got the chance to go to the Home of The Kangaroos. Yep! I went to Australia! the exact is at Sydney. I was so so sooo happy that I finally got the chance to go there. I went to Australia right after the mid-term test, with my older brother. We departed from Solo and had a transit at Jakarta first before we flew all the way to Sydney. It took us about 7 hours on a plane ride to Australia and it was about 11 am when we finally got there. The time difference is about 4 hours.
After we arrived at the Kingsford International Sydney Airport, we headed to a restaurant in Chinatown by bus. Chinatown itself is the busiest region and a centre of trading in Sydney. After we had a lunch at that Dragon Restaurant, we headed to our hotel, it's called The Rodges and it's located at the centre of the city so we didnt need so much time if we wanted to go to somewhere because it rather close to anywhere from here.  and the weather when I first got there was so bloody cold! It was around 15 degrees and I was freezing as hell!
Then after that, we headed to Bondi Beach and owww the weather was getting colder than before and the blowing of the wind is just so strong! At the beach, there were a lot of people just walking around, doing sports, having a conversation, eating, and just chilling around. Personally, I didn't enjoyed myself so much there because It was so cold and i was so bloody freezing and the wind is quite disturbing to my veil. We were only about one and a half hour there before we headed to the next destination that were Opera Sydney and The Harbour Bridge. I saw sooo many people there... Around the opera Sydney, there were a lot of Cafe's, and people were chatting, sitting, eating and laughing together. The sea was filled with a lot of ships that was going through. And the sky was so clear! I walked around and took pictures and i bought myself a gelato and it was awfully delicious!
The next day, we went to Koala Park. It was the first time I saw koalas with my own eyes, but unfortunately they were sleeping but still, they were sooo cute! And I saw Kangaroos closely and touched them too!
After from the Koala Park, we went to Blue Mountain. The Blue Mountain is a famous for the people's favorite place to spend their retirement days. When we were at the Blue Mountain, we were amazed by the beautiful scenery. And in the blue mountain, there is a mountain called Three Sisters. They called three sisters because their location is close to eachother and people here said that is was once a king's curse to his three daughters. That's way it called Three Sisters. After from the Blue Mountain, I walked to a restaurant nerby, and ate a typical Australian food. The restaurant itself has an unique interiors. Underneath the restaurant, there was a  stage show which continually showed Aboriginal Show. I bought two tickets and watched the show. I saw four aborigines telling history about their culture and people, and they danced their tribal dance. It was so cool but I prefer Indonesia's culture because its more beautiful, in my opinion. The show only lasted for 20 minutes. After that I went Scenic World, it's a tourist attraction place. I bought an "unlimited" tickets that costed AUS$35, so that I can rode Scenic Skyway, Railway, Cableway, and Walkway multiple times. All of them, make me want to go back to Australia. The Koala's park region, the Blue Mountain, and Scenic World, located in the outside of Sydney. We went there by bus and it took 2 hours to get there, fortunately there were no traffic jams in Australia.
In the next day, I went to the Darling Harbour region. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of blue seas, and lot of cruises that turn into restaurants. I went to of the restaurants and ate there. Inside the cruise, there was an old man; one of the cruise's crew which duty is welcoming the guests and he plays magic for entertain the guests. The old man is very old, presumably about above 80 years. But he is so friendly and kind. He wore a tuxedo and red hat; like jewish attribute.  The cruises get around the river there. the scenery became more beautiful. When we were almost reached the Opera Sydney and Harbour Bridge, the passengers came out and took pictures, climbed up the cruise. And the wind blew so strong, I get a little bit nausea from standing in the cruise. After from the cruise, I went Botanic Royal Garden Sydney. I took a walked with Opera Sydney and Harbour Bridge as the scenery. I saw a lot of people doing sports activation, there.
I got a lot of experiences from this trip. This trip increased my desire to study harder than before so that I can study abroad in developed countries, includes Australia.
I wish I can continue my study in developed countries and the knowledge I get from there will I bring back home with me, to my dearest Indonesia. And dedicated myself so that I can give some benefits to my country.
That's all. Thank you! Wish me luck! (and you too.)
