THE BEACH TRIP

Firstly i want to apologise for submitted this task over the due time because some blog problems. thank you.




I had a fun day today.  I went to the beach with my family.  It was my first time I had gone to the beach in North Carolina.
We woke up early and drove for two hours until we reached the beach.  There was a lot of traffic.  We finally found a parking spot and walked to the sand.  It was pretty outside and the beach was very crowded.  There were a lot of kids playing.
My dad set up a big umbrella.  I laid my towel out on the sand.  My mom helped me put on sunscreen.  I didn’t want to get sunburned.
I walked down to the water and stuck my toes in.  The water was warm.  It felt good.  I walked back to my family and told my brother to come swimming with me.
“I don’t want to,” he said.
“Why not?” I asked.“I’m afraid of sharks,” he said

"Pardon me?" Wh-what the hell were you saying? Youre afraid of sharks?" I looked at my brother with that -"you re so unbelieveable" look-
"Umm i mean.. well.. well yes i am.." he scratched the back of his neck.
"Ooh boyyy! You must be kidding me!" I laughed as he glared at me. "Right right i get it but hey dont you see those people swimming there and there? There is no sharks here, believe me."
"No thank you, im still not planning to go, though." He said slowly.
"Oh please! Come onnn! I mean they do have sharks here but they're so far away over there and believe me they wont be swimming all the way here just to attack you. It's gonna be safe! I promise! Come one!" I tried. He seems to thought about for a while. "I know.. but..um--" i didnt let him finished his sentences before i said, "you sure dont want to missed out any fun today right? Besides you only live once buddy sooo Whats the deal?come on!" He looked at me for a moment then suddenly burst out running to the beach screaming "YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE!!!"
