The Zoo

“The Zoo”

Today I am going on class field trip to the zoo. I have never been to the zoo before I am excited too see all of the animals. My teacher says that it is going to be a busy day. We have been learning about animals in class. My favourite animals is the elephant. I hope that I get to see one.

We are boarding the bus. I sit in the back of the bus with my friends. The ride is about thirty minutes long. We are walking through the gate. I am in a group with five of my classmates and my teacher. The zoo is very crowded with lots of students from other school. I hope that I will not get lost from my group.

First, we visit the monkeys. They come to edge of their cages and look at us. The monkeys have a lot of trees to climb on their cages. One monkeys is eating a banana. They look they are having a lot of fun. I wonder what i would be like play to them.

Next, we visit the polar bears. They live in an area that has a lot of big roks and a pond. Most of them are sleeping right now. The polar bears are a lot bigger than I imagined them being!

My teacher says that we are going to see the elephants now. We walk for a long time until we finally get to a big field. I can see the elephants in the distance! There are two big elephants and one baby. They are starting to walk in our direction. Maybe I will get a closer look at them. Finally they are close to us. From a distance all elephant seem the same, but if we look closer they are different.There are two elephant species that are usually recognized: the African elephant and the Asian elephant. The African elephant is bigger than Asian elephant It has larger ears too. When they got closer I try to touch them and give some food for them. Finally I can do it! I am very glad.

After that, we got a chance to ride on the elephant. It was very fun. I nearly fell off when trying to get on the elephant’s back. But it’s ok I really enjoy it. When I ride on the elephant I see a beautiful trees and bird.

After that, we had lunch together. During lunch we enjoyed the sound of birds in the park. Then in the afternoon we saw animals circus. There are some animals like elephants, lions, tigers, bear, rhinoceros birds and other. Finally, we returned home very tired but happy because we had so much fun all the day.
