“The Snow Day”

Writing Practice – Finish the Story

 My sister woke me up early this morning. She ran into my room before the alarm clock went off. “Look outside!” she yelled.

I got out of bed and looked out the window. All that I could see was white snow! There was a man shoveling the sidewalk in front of our house.

Mom came into the room. She brought us each a mug of hot chocolate. “No school today!” she said. I was very happy. My sister was happy, too.

Mom left the room to find our snow clothes. She gave me my blue snowsuit. She also gave me a hat and mittens.

“What are you going to do today with no school?” she asked.

I’m going to the window and indicated a snowball, isay “I wanna make a snowman with my friends” I answer

“Oh great! But be careful, there outside is very cold” she inform

“Okay mom” i say

I’m ran going to outside, and i came to my friend house. My friend Lisa open the door. “Hey what’s up?” she asked

“Wanna play white snow with me? Come on make a snowman haha” I say. “Of course, I Can’t wait” Lisa Answer.

And then me and lisa going to the park, Which is park covered with snow. I make a head snowman with carrot for a nose. And Lisa make the body of snowman. And then we finished to make a snowman.

“Phew lisa we finish” I say. 

“ Yeah, I think so” Lisa say too.

This is snow carrying happiness, For me. I invited lisa to visit my home for eat my mom cake. My sister join too.

“Hey lisa how are you?” my sister asked.

“Im fine of course” Lisa answer

And then we eating my mom cake together. Its very delicious for a snow day. This now holiday ist very happy with a white snow. Beautiful.
